This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for services provided by DX LLC. Because our work includes custom consulting, design, development, maintenance, and other technical services, refunds are limited and subject to the terms below.
By using our services, you agree to this Refund Policy.
- Purpose of This Refund Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to clearly define:
- when a refund may be granted
• when a refund is not available
• how refund amounts are calculated
• how to submit a refund request
DX LLC provides customized, time based, and knowledge based professional services. Much of the work involves planning, analysis, development, and expertise that cannot be “returned” once delivered.
- Scope of This Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all DX LLC services, including:
- consulting
• UI and UX design
• WordPress and web development
• custom website builds
• WooCommerce and ecommerce implementation
• website maintenance and care plans
• website security, malware removal, audits
• speed and performance optimization
• website migration and hosting setup
• all other custom work and technical services
For services purchased through third party platforms (such as Codeable):
- the platform’s payment and refund rules take precedence
• this Refund Policy applies only where it does not conflict with platform rules
- General Refund Principles
Due to the nature of our services:
- Refunds are generally not issued for work already delivered or time already spent.
- Refunds may be considered only in specific, limited situations such as:
• no work being started after payment, where DX LLC is solely at fault
• clear and documented failure to deliver work in line with an agreed written scope AND failure to correct the issue within a reasonable timeframe - Refunds will not be granted for:
• change of mind
• project cancellation initiated by the client after work has already begun
• subjective dissatisfaction not related to the written scope of work
• misunderstandings arising from unclear or incomplete instructions
• expectations that were not part of the agreed scope
- Deposits and Upfront Payments
Many projects require an upfront deposit before work begins.
- Deposits reserve production time and resources.
• Deposits also cover initial research, planning, setup, and communication.
Deposits and upfront payments are generally non refundable, unless:
- DX LLC does not begin the project at all, and
• the delay is solely the responsibility of DX LLC
In such limited cases, a partial or full refund may be issued.
- Fixed Price Projects
For fixed price projects:
- No refund is available once the final deliverables have been submitted, as the service has been completed.
- If the project is in progress and the client requests cancellation:
• the client must pay for the portion of work already completed
• any overpaid amount may be refunded at DX LLC’s discretion - If DX LLC significantly fails to follow the written scope and cannot correct the issues within a reasonable timeframe, the client may request a partial refund proportional to the unusable portion of the deliverables.
- Hourly or Time Based Work
For services billed hourly or daily:
- refunds are not provided for time already worked
• billing is based on actual time used, as agreed
• a time log may be provided upon request
• any proven billing errors will be corrected
- Website Maintenance Plans and Subscriptions
For monthly, quarterly, or yearly maintenance plans:
- Payments for an already started billing period are non refundable, as time and capacity are reserved in advance.
- Clients may cancel future billing periods, but past or ongoing periods cannot be refunded.
- If DX LLC is unable to provide any maintenance services during a paid period, we may offer:
• a partial refund, or
• an extension of the service period at no additional cost
- Third Party Costs and Fees
Many services rely on external providers such as:
- hosting companies
• domain registrars
• theme and plugin vendors
• email or marketing tools
• analytics providers
Refunds cannot be issued for:
- payments to third party providers
• licenses, subscriptions, or renewals
• external fees required for your project
Any refund request for third party payments must be directed to the respective provider.
- Quality, Corrections, and Revisions
DX LLC aims to deliver all work to a high professional standard.
- If a mistake or defect is found that falls within the agreed scope, DX LLC will correct it at no additional cost.
• If the client requests changes unrelated to the original scope, additional fees may apply.
• Changing aesthetic preferences is not a basis for refund.
Refunds are considered only after DX LLC is given a reasonable opportunity to correct issues.
- Client Initiated Cancellation
If the client decides to stop the project:
- The client must pay for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
- Previously paid amounts that correspond to completed work are non refundable.
- If payment exceeds the value of completed work, DX LLC may refund the difference, minus any administrative or payment processing fees.
Changing business strategy, timing, or priorities is not grounds for a refund.
- Cancellation by DX LLC
DX LLC may end a project if:
- the client violates terms or instructions
• the client repeatedly fails to pay on time
• the client is abusive, uncooperative or unreasonable
• the project requires participation in unethical or illegal activities
In such cases:
- the client pays for all work completed up to termination
• DX LLC may choose to refund a portion of payments for work not yet started
- Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting DX LLC is considered a breach of agreement.
If a chargeback is filed:
- DX LLC may submit all evidence of completed work to the payment processor
• the client remains responsible for outstanding invoices
• all ongoing services may be suspended
• the client may be permanently prohibited from future service engagement
We strongly encourage resolving disputes directly before contacting the bank.
- Additional Rights for EU, EEA, and UK Consumers
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK:
- you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded
• however, for services that begin immediately upon your request, the right to cancel without reason may end once the service has been fully performed
Where local consumer laws provide higher protection, those minimum protections apply.
- Situations That Do Not Qualify for a Refund
Refunds will not be issued for:
- change of mind or loss of interest
• poor performance caused by hosting, server limits or third party tools
• issues arising after the client modifies the site or gives access to a third party
• delays caused by the client not providing content, access, or approvals
• outcomes that depend on external factors (search rankings, ad performance, conversions, revenue, etc.)
• technical limitations inherent to WordPress, plugins, or hosting environments
- How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, email:

Your message must include:
- project name or invoice number
• date of payment
• detailed reason for the request
• any supporting evidence
DX LLC will:
- review your request
• examine communication and deliverables
• respond with a written decision
If a refund is approved:
- it will be issued using the original payment method where possible
• processing times depend on your payment provider
Submitting incomplete or vague requests may delay the review process.
- Changes to This Refund Policy
DX LLC may update this Refund Policy at any time to reflect:
- changes in services
• legal requirements
• improved clarity
